While stray baptisms are less common than stray burials, they did occur. First time mothers-to-be may return to the home of their own mother for support while giving birth, and the baptism may therefore take place in that parish rather than their current residence of Wing. A family on the move may baptise their child in their new village rather than in the one they had left immediately after the birth of their latest addition to the family.
If you find the baptism of a Wing person on your research travels, please let me know.
